40 Hours Mission
Lord, Teach Us to Pray
We hope you were able to join us the weekend of October 25-27, 2019, with Father Brandon Moravitz in 40 Hours of Eucharistic Adoration, talks and reflection, praise & worship, Reconciliation, prayer, and more! It was such a beautiful, moving weekend that hopefully led you closer to Christ, called you to time with Him in Adoration, and gave you some guidance on different ways to pray. (Remember A.R.R.R. - don't just be a faucet, be a sponge!)
Remember that Jesus is waiting for you every Thursday at St. Anthony's on the altar. Adoration begins immediately following 8:00 am Daily Mass and continues until 8:00 pm. Consider making a mini-retreat each Thursday by stopping in the church to spend time with Him. You can sign up for an hour or half hour time slot if you would like a time on your schedule, or just stop in when you have time and stay even just 10 minutes. He is constantly calling you to Him, but as Father Brandon said, God is a gentleman; He will not force Himself on you. You must go to Him in the quiet of your heart and say, "Yes, Lord, I am here. I am listening."
If you would like to sign-up for a Holy Hour on Thursdays, please contact the parish office. You can also be put on the substitute list. Let us fill our church and community with prayer and praise of the Lord!
