Homebound Ministry

Our St. Anthony's parish clergy, staff, and parishioners is committed to caring for and ministering to those in our parish and community that are unable to or have a difficult time leaving their home for Mass, parish events, medical appointments, and other needs during daily life.

On the First Friday of each month, Father Bill makes home visits to bring Holy Communion and offer Anointing of the Sick to those who want it. Deacon Don leads a Communion Service at Grahek Apartments each First Friday at 9:30 am. We also have multiple Eucharistic Ministers who bring the Eucharist to those confined to their homes on a weekly basis. If you or someone you know would like to be on the list for these items, please contact the parish office.

For those unable to come to Mass, we mail out the weekly bulletin. We want everyone to feel a part of our parish family and want you to know what is happening at our parish. We also appreciate the prayers for our events!

There is Mass at the Boundary Waters Care Center each Wednesday at 2:30 pm. Carefree Living has Mass at 10:00 am on the First Friday of each month. Father Bill also goes to the rooms of any parishioners who are unable to attend these Masses to distribute Communion and Anointing of the Sick. Parishioners lead a Rosary each Sunday at 2:30 pm at the Boundary Waters Care Center.

If there are additional needs for yourself, a family member, or a neighbor that we can assist with, please contact our Care Facilitator Heidi at 365-4017 ext. 105 or [email protected]
